Hai,

So theres this program on macs called bootcamp where you can partition your HD so it can run Windows. I have just done that and its working so i can hopefully play games again.

Some reason i cant connect to the wireless network (god i hate windows) but i found out my specs

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU

T7700 @ 2.40GHz

2GB Ram

Am i even close to running whatever games you are playing or going to play?

Much what sonik said.

The ram’s fine, the chip is very average for bc2. So it all comes down to your graphics.

Anything in the 9600gt, 8800gt, 3870ati are your lowest limits. Anything around there and higher will get you playing on low.

And windows isn’t the problem with your wireless. Apple uses their own personal wireless cards in most cases and are uselessly incompatible with everything other then osx. Their performance sucks too.

The 2600Pro is a piece of garbage, and even by the standards of when it came out, it was crap.

It won’t play squat I’m afraid. It won’t play any modern game, even on low. It’s really that bad.

Time to upgrade :(

I do have an ati 4870 I can sell for like $60 (+ postage… was gonna put it on ebay anyway) but have no idea how they work in macs and if your power supply is up to the job.

Your gonna need more then a few $100 here and there for a computer well enough to play the latest games especially BF3.

Being slack here,

Is there any programs that spit out what hardware you have got, I want to check my machine and see what the cheapest upgrade path is.
