That’s not something easily setup to TV!

It’s like comparing chips to UFOs. And America has too many of both.

You know those robots on Mars? It’s like Total Recall meets the Terminator but with less Sarah Conor and more silence.

Shit they must be bored. Must be playing solitaire all day.

And do their solar panels get recs?

i agree that sickbeard is better then netflix mostly because sickbeard + couchpotato will get you everything, netflix only gives you what it has license to give you. also netflix is not in australia so i assume you have some porxy setup to get it to work.

I prefer Netflix (though I agree you can get more elsewhere) as I use the Roku to simply connect it to the tv and the family can use a remote. For me, I can’t compare the two. I guess I’m looking it a point of view for the whole family. Most family members can’t torrent/download and then move it to the tv. For example, if I want to watch something, I have to turn on the comp, torrent something and wait for it to download. And then transfer it to an xbox or remote station etc.

The only negative for Netflix is the initial setup. But once it’s done, anyone (even brain dead) can use it.

Got the Roku from Amazon, and pay for a dns from unblockus ($5pm… though there is a free service elsewhere, not sure how good it is). Just input their dns into your router, signup the roku and netflix ($8pm for netflix) and it’s done.

I still download my own personal movies etc from torrents that aren’t on netflix, but for less savy people, netflix is fantastic. I’ve signed up a few people on the service as when they first experience what it can do at my house, they’re blown away.

For geeks… sickbeard blows it out of the water.

For family and other people not interest in comps, netflix will change their world.

yeah.

In regards to automation, sickbeard/couchpotato and sabnzb auto downloads the shows and processes the shows into there directories, then My plex media server auto detects it and its up for anyones viewing pleasure.

The only downside is the initial “ben i want such a such tv show downloaded” i then add it to my sickbeard/couchpotato. Its not flawless some older shows can be hard to get on usenet, but i love it.

There are 3 Media players around the house that use DLNA to stream to, so there is no time wasted throwing shit on thumb drives etc. Plex even streams to anything on the internet too. So if i was desperate i could watch it on my android device.

Also netflix can only stream videos yeah? if so i can’t game while i my sister watches a movie while i play some mecho with booger..

I’ll take it. Does it come with millions of games and 400 controllers?

Pretty sure I could get it going again. Solder city.

Else-wise I’ll put it on ebay as “Boog3rs xbox” and get a few thousand :)

I’ve modded my 360 with the xkey thingy, so I don’t really buy any games anymore (unless they’re super cheap on live).

I’ve got some Kinect games still and other standard ones if you’d like some Bogs?

Only proper games I have a Blur, SF2 and… actually, that’s about it. Lent some games to some ‘friends’ and they never gave them back :(

If you have a Kinect my list is a little bigger.
